The Opportunity Card is given to people who demonstrate their own expertise and receive at least six points according to the points system. After people receive their work and residence permits in Germany, they must continue their business relationships during their stay in Germany.

In order to obtain work and residence permits within the scope of the qualified personnel law in Germany, it is necessary to recognize the training received in the past for the profession. This requirement makes it impossible for qualified personnel who have not received vocational training but have practiced their profession for years to obtain a work permit in Germany.
The Opportunity Card allows experts who do not have a vocational training infrastructure but have professional experience to be granted a work permit in Germany. In this way, it allows experts who collect six points within the framework of the criteria mentioned above to work in Germany.
